When Theresa tagged out from Alpha 245 for the last time in 2014, she thought she was going to be a full-time mom. She wanted to focus on her precious child, Ginger — the most adorable, cutest furkid in Petaling Jaya and, according to some (mostly her), in the entire world. She envisioned days filled with playtime and pampering, perhaps grooming her to become Asia’s Next Top Pet Model. But life, had a surprise up its sleeve. In 2015, she found herself teaming up with her old partner in crime, Terence once more. Together, they formed IdenTT.
Theresa started her journey in the field of design and advertising as a graphic designer in one of Malaysia’s leading design firms, William Harald-Wong & Associates. From there, she moved on to OgilvyOne Worldwide followed by Arc Worldwide. She combined great design, art direction and strategic insightful communication to create impactful work for her clients and clinched the first Cannes Gold Lion in Direct Marketing for Malaysia.
Theresa has been acknowledged in the Won Report as the only creative personnel with the most pieces of work ranked in the World’s Top Ten Direct Marketing Campaign. She’s been on the judging panel at both international and local award shows such as Cannes, Adfest, China & Hong Kong Long Xi Awards as well as the Malaysian Kancil Awards and DMAM.
She is experienced and skilled in nurturing young creative talents, focusing on not just creating advertising but effective communication solutions that contributed positively to brand building and drove populism.
