Meet Terence

Terence thought it was a clean break-up after being in a 20-year relationship. Sure, it was tough, but he consoled himself with thoughts of freedom and to finally realise his dreams of travelling the world or becoming a beach bum. “Time to make way for new blood in the advertising industry,” he mused. Little did he know that a year later, he’d be back in the game, starting his own agency. Turns out, the flame was still burning and his passion for building brands was as indestructible as his love for coffee.

He started off in advertising as a Copywriter. Five years and a string of awards later, he went over to the dark side and became the Chief Communications Officer and Head of eMarketing at MyBiz International, a technology solutions company that transforms the way business is done online.

In 2001, he joined IPG Group’s Interface Advertising, which later became DraftFCB. Wearing many hats was his specialty. Day-to-day, he was the Director of Strategic Planning. For some accounts, he took on the role of Group Account Director and he also served as the Coach for the agency, ensuring that the team was always at the top of their game.

Terence joined the Leo Burnett Group in 2005. He founded a new Agency, Alpha 245 for the Group in 2010 and led the agency to year-on-year double digit growth for four consecutive years. In between, he also led the Agency to a number of Agency of the Year Awards.
